This was a used Cen Matrix C-1 buggy purchased through ebay for $75. I think this kit was originally the RTR version with all of the Factory Race Edition upgrades, except for the chassis brace. However, there are many extras the FRE does not include like:
- Aluminum Steering Kunckles
- Upgraded shocks
- Carbon fiber front and rear shock towers
- CNC upper bell crank
- BCE chassis
- 7075 Ackerman plate steering
- 7075 engine mount lower plate
- upgraded front and rear upper arms
The seller also included some parts and servos, which I sold the Z590 and Z270 Spektrum servos ($15 on RCU) to offset the actual cost of the buggy. And if I really wanted to make some money off this purchase I can remove the upgrade listed above and sell it individually.
The plan for this buggy is convert it to brushless by using the custom Matrix Truggy hardware i built, but no of the things fit. Luckily I did not have to do too much custom work to get my existing mounts to fit. |
