So after searching the web for examples of how people mounted their amps in a Crew cab Titan i finally found one that I like. That person had a setup similar to what I am about to do.
Like for all my projects I start off with a cardboard prototype.
Now I am ready to cut out the real thing. I think I am used 1/2 inch thick plywood, it was some extra wood that I had from previouse project.
Here you can see the gap on the bottom that I made so the heater vent will not be blocked.
